Saikat Mukhopadhyay is back with two heart-stopping dark fantasy novels – Shoitaner Sontan and Patanga Sangam. Through both the novels, the strange textures of sin, blood, and relationships arise again and again. The novels are intense, finely observed works of realism, but they pulsate with a kind of energy that seems to allow for another realm of possibility. Very hard to put down !
